If you're disappointed in people building simple and low-effort creations, then you shouldn't have made a sandbox game. A slap really doesn't hurt that much, nor does it really injure your body, but it is very insulting, and by virtue of being slapped, are you still really allowed to build whatever you like? You can build almost anything with Lego, so why am I even restricting you at all? It seems silly to make rules like this when so many fascinating possibilities exist. if you build anything other than a yellow bridge, I'm going to slap you. A structure must meet several requirements in order to function as a house (see details below ). A house (or home) is a structure built by the player that town NPCs require in order to spawn, with one house required per NPC. The possibilities are endless! Let your imagination run wild! Build whatever you want! But. House Edit A basic house with the dimensions of 9 (exterior width) × 7 (exterior height). Let's use an example: I'm going to dump an enormous amount of Lego on the floor. Simply having a punishment at all means that what you are doing is inherently not allowed, and that really sucks to live with if that's what you enjoyed doing. Perhaps NPCs each prefer certain categories of blocks/palettes and would decrease/increase prices on top of other factors For example, santa wanting Christmas lights, demolitionist wanting more blast resistant blocks, dryad wanting an earthy/natural house (mud bricks, clay etc, and hating more manufactured blocks), wizard hating mechanical blocks (becuase technology and magic dont mix) while the mechanic loves them, Guide hating underworld blocks (for obvious reasons), and the truffle hating mushroom blocks and perhaps has a voiceline on "how would you like to live in a house made of flesh".Ĭlick to expand.Honestly it really doesn't matter how bad the penalties are, what matters is that there is a penalty at all. Perhaps using candles/chandeliers instead of torches, and fancier furniture instead of just wood would decrease their prices slightly.īeing in a floating box not touching the ground at all would raise their prices slightly (towers, since they touch the ground, would be fine). ![]() Yes, they CAN live there, but they're not going to like it. NPCs should get angry and raise their prices when in a house of the minimum size. NPCs should get angry and raise their prices temporarily when attacked by a player (with the flymeal/rotten eggs, or with the proper voodoo doll equipped).
